Since 2012 began, readers have downloaded over 65,000 copies of Rosen's books. So far two titles have broken into Amazon's Top 100 Kindle Books chart and Lipstick and Knickers led the fictional comedy chart for almost three weeks.
Rosen was born in Cornwall, during the Chinese year of the sheep. She studied at Oxford before moving back to the West Country.
She now lives on the south coast of Devon with two imaginary cats, fantasising about getting a real one.

Praise for Rosen Trevithick
"A very short story which made a very big impact, I actually found myself at one point holding my breath."
- A. Coburn (Amazon top 500 reviewer)
"It is that famous sarcastic, British wit that I could eat all day. London, the Doggy and Me is simply another winner from her."
- N. Blackburn (Amazon reviewer)
"Rosen has a flair for snappy dialogue, detailed description and fast plot movement. I'll definitely be reading more of her work."
- David Wailing (author)
"It's everything new writing should be. I hope to see more from her."
- Oxford Uncovered
"...Engrossing..."
- Cherwell
"I absolutley loved Straight Out of University. It was laugh out loud funny through a lot of it. It drew me in rapidly and even had me on tenterhooks to see if characters Sophie and John would work out together.
- S. Hitchens
"A page-turner, it kept me interested, and I ended up reading Footprints in one sitting. I found it very thought provoking, and one of those stories that you continue to ponder for some time after."
- T. Steele (Amazon reviewer)
"I absolutely love it when I stumble upon an author totally by accident. To me it is a really special treat. Rosen is an excellent writer."
- N. Blackburn (Goodreads)
"Rosen is actually in a league of her own for challenging stereotypes without the reader even realising it (until it is too late). Well recommended."
- Little Kate (Amazon)
"On the Rocks punched me in the gut in the same manner as Kathleen's Arthur's Story: A Love Story (and anyone knows how I go on about that one!)"
- N. Blackburn (Goodreads)
"The Other Daughter is a deeply moving and emotional read."
- D. Jones (Amazon #1 reviewer)
"Straight Out of University is quite different from most of Rosen's other books, but that just emphasises how good a writer Rosen is."
- Joo (KUF)
"I wish I could give The Selfish Act more than 5 stars. Again, Trevithick has shown herself as a master of the short story."
- N. Blackburn (Goodreads)

I've reviewed The Silent Hills by Derek Thompson
The Silent Hills is a dark, sinister short story by Derek Thompson.
Ideal for: A quick read on the Paddington to Penzance line.
Favourite points: The last line. (Read the story to find out why.)
Least favourite points: I would have liked a few more surprises.
