Praise for Rosen Trevithick

"Brilliant."
- The Independent
"You can tell that Ms Trevithick was a fan of Roald Dahl when she was growing up. The stinky trolls in this story are reminiscent of the giants in The BFG and, if possible, even more revolting. Her strong authorial voice and witty prose will appeal to parents as much as children; I caught myself chortling out loud at least every other page."
- Rebecca Davies (The Independent)
"This short story makes an excellent introduction to the novel 'Pompomberry House' but it's also very funny in its own right, particularly for anyone who has ever been on an internet forum!"
- Sheila Perry (Author)
(Re: 'A Royal Mess')
"It is that famous sarcastic, British wit that I could eat all day. London, the Doggy and Me is simply another winner."
- N. Blackburn

A Lovely Day for A Swim

Ever since I started winter swimming, I've been desperate to swim in the snow. Unfortunately, we don't get much of it in the South West, so I've had to wait quite a few years

I thought I was in luck when it snowed three weeks ago, but by the time I got to the beach, the flakes had stopped falling and, since none settled, I couldn't really call the subsequent dip 'a snow swim'.

However, today we had a blizzard. So rather than not enough snow, there was too much to even see the sea from the top of the beach. We waited, with a hot chocolate and a latté, for the snow to ease. Finally, I was able to get it safely. Claire (LLE-Photography) kindly took photos for me. Here's my favourite:
