Praise for Rosen Trevithick

"Brilliant."
- The Independent
"Laugh-out-loud funny, wonderfully observed, and intelligent."
- N. Holme
"I was reading this aloud to my 4 year old niece when waiting for hubby to finish with a doctor's appointment. She was totally enthralled! When we were ready to leave, the gentleman across from us had been listening and said, "Ah! Man! Do you have to go? I was really enjoying that!""
- DW
"This first thing I learned was that this is not a book to read on the bus, mainly because of all the times I caught myself laughing like an idiot every five minutes. The second thing I learned was just how great this book is."
- M. Cox (Amazon Reviewer)

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your books about and will I like them?

My books fall into two categories: silly humour and dark drama.

All the children's books are comedies, so if you know a kid who giggles at stinky smells and chuckles at buffoons falling over, direct them to my Smelly Trolls series.

The adult books vary, My Granny Writes Erotica and Pompomberry House are just two examples of humorous books with batty characters that you love to hate, whereas some of the short stories like The Other Daughter and On the Rocks deal with more series issues such as child abduction and severe mental health problems.

Where can I buy your books?

Some of my books are available to order through bookshops, such as Waterstones. The entire catalogue is available at Amazon.

I heard that a troll called Loodrip Stinkleboss lives in your toilet. Is that true and did she follow you when you moved to Falmouth?

You heard correctly, a vile, stinky troll does live in my toilet. She swam along drainage pipes and sewers so that she could join me at my new home.

I don't have a Kindle. Can I still buy your books?

Yes, I have a range of titles available in paperback. You can also read Kindle books on most computers, tablets and phones by downloading a free app from Amazon.

Are your books based on fact?

I use experiences in my life to inspire books but no, none of them are true stories.

Does you granny really write erotica?

Alas, my grandparents have all moved on from this world. I am (almost) certain that none of them wrote erotic novels.

Have you got any advice for authors wanting to self-published?

Plenty! The most important thing is to be really driven; take knock backs in your stride - it's a career thwart with rejection but you have to keep ploughing through. Secondly, educate yourself on the latest developments in publishing and promotion. If there's a new trick out there, you need to know about it.
